Grow a Pair, Obama

The New Yorker put out a satirical cartoon depicting Barack and Michelle Obama that has been condemned by some as tasteless. As though this hasn’t been done to Republicans. In only a way Michelle Malkin can put it, “Grow a pair, Obama!” Take a quick look at the cartoons Michelle puts up, especially those of McCain. It’s worth a chuckle.

Why I Will Not Vote for John McCain

As some of you might know, John McCain is a long-time acquaintance of mine that goes way back to our time together at the U.S. Naval Academy and as Prisoners of War in Vietnam. He is a man I respect and admire in some ways. But there are a number of reasons why I will not vote for him for President of the United States.

Read that article. Not impressed. Phillip is a “a peace and justice activist with Veterans for Peace.” But that’s not all. From his article about McCain:

“He is not a moderate Republican. On some issues he is a maverick. But his voting record is far to the right.”

Many readers would take exception to that … But it doesn’t matter. Phillip isn’t wasn’t going to vote for a conservative or a Republican any way you slice it.

His article is not only silly, but a bit churlish in my opinion. McCain’s own account can be read on this blog and soon after its release.

If you vote for a Republican for the President, you will only get more wars and high taxation, because their foresight and judgement are lacking. McCain is not the “Straight Talk Express”. He is the “Double Talk I Don’t Care About You Except For Me Express”!
